Situated atop Bukit Nenas in the vinicity of Kuala Lumpur's hotel district, this 421m high concrete Kuala Lumpur Tower is Asia's 2nd tallest and th 5th tallest in the world. Visitors can enjoy panoramic view of the city from its observation deck as well as the revolving restaurant. Besides a telecommunications tower, Kuala Lumpur Tower is also a television and radio broadcasting station.

Besides the panoramic view, Kuala Lumpur Tower has something for the city-dwelling, nature enthusiast. The verdant green surrounding Kuala Lumpur Tower is the Bukit Nanas Forest - the only oldest gazetted forest reserve in the country. Age-old trees, flora and fauna indigenous to tropical climes, the tale of the Jelutong Tree that moved the Menara and a recreational park with open air gym are there for your exploration.
In the forest one can find colourful butterflies, insects, monkeys, squirrels and exotic birds in their natural habitat. The forest also contains ferns, creepers and climbers, Palmae spp. and other indigenous plants.
The Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur city, in between Jalan Ampang and Jalan Raja Chulan. It covers an area of 10.05 hectares and is considered the 'Green Lung' of Kuala Lumpur. It is a sanctuary to a wonderful array of flora and fauna which is unique to our tropical nature.
How To Go To Kuala Lumpur Tower
It is easy to get to the Forest Park as it is surrounded by a network of excellent roads. To reach the Forest Park, visitors can use their own vehicles or public transportation. The main road is Jalan Ampang, Jalan Gereja and Jalan Raja Chulan.
Visiting hours: 7.00am to 6.00pm daily including weekends and public holidays.
