Tunku Abdul Rahman Memorial

Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Memorial was officially opened by Dato 'Seri Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, Prime Minister of Malaysia on 10 November 1994. Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Memorial was established as a memorial and tribute contributions fondly and Tunku as the "Father of Independence" and the first Prime Minister of Malaysia (1957-1970). Memorial displays all related legacy of Tunku various materials such as documents, pictures, awards, newspaper articles, clothes and furniture. There is also a theater audiovisual on Tunku Abdul Rahman.

All materials displayed at the Memorial Tunku Abdul Rahman is based on specific themes for visitors to know Tunku personally. Among the themes are Tunku and Freedom, Philosophy / Concept Tunku and Tunku Abdul Rahman's Biography. Apart from that included in the exhibition is the Old Office Building, Tunku Abdul Rahman when he became Prime Minister. Visitors can also see the building occupied by the Tunku Residency from 1956 to 1970. Residency Building is the attraction to visitors as the building is 100 years old is still retained its original shape and position of the internal layout. There are exhibits on the outside where the most interesting is a 1959 Fleetwood Cardillac car used by the Tunku. Library facilities and gift shop are also available.

Memorial Tun Abdul Razak

Memorial Tun Abdul Razak, was officiated by Dato 'Seri Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, Prime Minister of Malaysia on May 6, 1982. Tun Abdul Razak Memorial Building was originally the official residence of Sri Tun Abdul Razak from 1962 until his death in January 1976. Tun Abdul Razak Memorial to commemorate the service and his contributions to the nation.

This memorial exhibit materials belonging to the Tun Abdul Razak himself and also materials related to his better known as the "Father of Development" and also the Prime Minister of Malaysia to the second (1970-1976).

The entire exhibition is divided into two parts. Part 1 of the exhibition building at Sri Garden to showcase about 650 substances and can be categorized into three major groups of archival materials, museum materials, and library materials. All materials displayed according to specific topics, among them biographies, Personnel, Defense, Education, Gifts and Souvenirs, Social, Political, Development, Foreign Affairs, Religious Activities, Back To Rahmatullah and the Tun Razak Foundation. In addition to photographs and documents, materials late and family personal property included in the exhibition.

History of Malaysian National Monument

Malaysia National Monument is an explosion of ideas from the first Prime Minister of Malaysia, also known as the Father of Independence Alayarham Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj. The new Federal Government administrative centre of Putrajaya is also within the state of Selango. Extending over nearly five hectares, Putrajaya has been designed as a modern township reflecting the dual theme of "garden city, intelligent city". This model township contains innovative urban design concepts with a strong emphasis on preservation of the environment through the intergration of commercial and residential districts with parks and lakes.

The capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, which in a little over a century has progressed from its attap hut beginnings to a bustling, cosmopolitan citym is equally geared to meet the next century head on. However, progress has not demolished Kuala Lumpu's intrinsic charm and despite laying claim to the world's tallest buildings and other stunning architectural edifices, the city retains much of its heritage. it projects an eclectic fusion of the old and the new.

Negeri Sembilan, while getting quitly absorbed in the progessie wave of its neighbour Selangor, still has its graceful countrified air. Sippingat progress in a more leisurely fashion, this small state offers a suprising contrast to Selangor's rapid development. There are industrial parks on its fringes and its capital Seremban is slowly undergoing a change of facade.
